Physical identity. Connected digitally.

tapmi ships NFC cards, QR identity, and live profiles as one product — engineered by Reiwa Sakura Tech.

01 / TAPMI

Physical
identity
becomes digital.

tapmi is a production NFC identity product from Reiwa Sakura Tech. A physical card or tag resolves over HTTPS to a private-by-tap profile — no app required for the recipient.

  1. Physical NFC card carries a resolver ID.
  2. A compatible device reads the chip or scans the printed QR.
  3. tapmi.link resolves the public identity over HTTPS.
  4. The visitor opens the associated profile and can save contact or follow configured destinations.

Educational product simulation — this page does not use Web NFC or claim a live chip tap. Current phase: physical.

Product flow

  1. Tap — The NFC card interacts with a compatible device (or the printed QR is scanned).
  2. Resolve — tapmi.link resolves the card’s public identity over HTTPS.
  3. View — The visitor reaches the associated profile (private by tap — guessed addresses do not open).
  4. Act — Save contact, visit configured destinations, or perform supported actions.

Public architecture

Public-safe conceptual path only — private hosts, schemas, and credentials are not published.

Designed beyond the card

  • Public identity — only published profile fields leave the card.
  • Controlled routing — chip and QR resolve through tapmi.link, not an open directory scrape.
  • HTTPS — transport is encrypted end to end for profile loads.
  • Input validation & abuse protection — writes and management sit behind authenticated sessions.
  • Secure management separation — cardholder and operator surfaces are separate from the public resolve path.

Conceptual NFC structure

Labeled conceptual layers for education — not a manufacturing bill of materials.

FLOW

How it works

  1. 01 NFC card
  2. 02 Tap / QR
  3. 03 tapmi.link
  4. 04 Profile
  5. 05 Contact / action

tapmi connects a durable physical object (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1, 85.6 × 53.98 × 0.76 mm PVC) to a profile that can change without reprinting the chip. The public product lives at tapmi.net.

FEATURES

Capabilities

NFC identity

A tap opens the live profile from a card or tag via tapmi.link.

QR identity

The printed QR resolves through the same public link host when NFC is unavailable.

Private by tap

Guessed profile addresses do not open; the physical card or QR is the door.

Contact sharing

Web-first share so the other person does not need an app install.

How tapmi works

The physical object carries a resolver ID. NFC tap or QR scan loads the current profile in the browser via tapmi.link. Content can change; the object stays the same.

Physical + digital

Cards and tags are the entry. The profile is the system of record for what a person or organisation publishes.

Product features

NFC, QR, digital identity, smart profiles, contact sharing, and mobile interaction on a single identifier.

Profile experience

Short sessions on a phone: identity, links, and an action. No app-store gate for the recipient.

ENGINEERING

Public architecture

Clients, APIs, and domain concerns. No private hosts or credentials.

NFC architecture (public)

Chip and QR encode a stable identifier. Resolution happens over HTTPS through tapmi.link. Internal hosts and credential stores are not published.

Security

Public reads are limited to published fields. Writes sit behind authenticated sessions. Transport is encrypted. Profiles are private by tap.

UI

Interface studies

CSS device frames. No unverified production screenshots are published.
